Canadian Tourism College:
Distance Education
Established in 1980 as Canadian Travel School, Canadian Tourism College continues a proud tradition of integrity, quality and educational excellence. The present name was adopted in 1998 to reflect a new, expanded curriculum - programs designed to prepare our students for the many new career opportunities emerging within the industry.
As the oldest privately owned and operated tourism specialty education facility, Canadian Tourism College takes great pride in the quality of educational opportunities for its students and as importantly, its dedication to providing graduates with lifelong placement assistance and guidance. Canadian Tourism College has formed partnerships with public and private educational institutions through a recognized articulation process. Used to determine which courses are equivalent to one another, this process provides for inter-institutional transfer credits for specific courses or programs. This makes it possible to transfer CTC credits towards degree granting programs at public and private institutions globally.
In keeping with the mission statement "Creating Career Opportunities in a Changing World" Canadian Tourism College partners with tourism companies world wide to create international work experiences for graduates.
CTC is committed to the promotion of ongoing professional development in the tourism industry by adding new training opportunities every year. |
