How do I find information on Schools?
It's Education Search Made Easy! Just choose your Field of Study on EduLocator.com home page and choose the Schools in your Area you are interested in.
How do I know my request was successfully sent to a School?
If the status of your request says “Accepted”, you can be assured that your request was successfully submitted to that School. Each School will contact you directly by e-mail and/or telephone within 24 hours.
Why are some of my requests to Schools under review?
Often this means you reside outside of a School’s designated service area. This does not mean that you cannot attend that particular School. We just need to get some more information from you before your request can be processed. Please call Eddie Johnstone at 1 (866) 927-0150 for more details.
Do I have to apply to the schools that contact me?
Your request to a School is simply a way for you to get all the information you need to make an informed decision about which School you want to attend to complete your post-secondary studies. When a School representative contacts you, they will invite you to an interview where you can have all your questions answered and take a tour of the campus. The decision to submit an application to that School is up to you.
How many schools can I request information from?
You can request information from all the schools that interest you. There is no minimum or maximum number of requests you can submit. Just remember, that when it comes time to apply to Schools students who apply to more than 1 school have a 67% higher chance of getting accepted.
What if I want to get information on more than one Program?
No problem! Our goal is to get you all the information you need so that you can make an informed decision about which School you want to attend to complete your post-secondary studies. Most of the schools in our directory offer many types of Programs. By attending interviews with School representatives, you have the opportunity to have your questions answered about all the Programs they offer.

You can get funding up to $28,000 (or more) to pay for living expenses, help caring for dependents, books, transportation, disability supports, other living and training costs. The program will help you commit to a long-term training plan so you can make the transition into a new and high-paying career.
If you are unemployed, been laid off in the last 4 years, working less than 20 hours a week to make ends meet, or are not eligible for Employment Insurance (EI), you may qualify for the Second Career program.
To find out if you qualify for Second Career funding, you must visit an Employment Ontario Assessment Centre for an interview. Make sure you get the “6 facts You Must Know Before Applying to Second Career Programs”, click here.
When you attend an Assessment Centre you will be asked to research 3 training providers in your chosen occupation. Not all Programs qualify for Second Career funding. Click here to do your research now and fast-track your acceptance to the program.
What is Distance Education?
Obtaining a post-secondary degree is now possible without you having to leave your home. All you need is a computer and internet access. Learning is coordinated through virtual classrooms, lectures through tele-conferencing, submitting assignments online, discussions through interactive platforms, and online research databases. This is a great option for those whose life obligations prevent them from attending scheduled classes and lectures. With distance education, you control when you go to school. However, to succeed in an e-learning environment you must be completely self-motivated and self-disciplined. This makes education online great for some, while not so great for those who need the external support and motivation to drive ahead which on-campus curriculums provide.
