The Second Career strategy is a new program launched by the Ontario government that pays for the training you need to get a better job.

You can get funding up to $28,000 (or more) to pay for:

Living Expenses
Transportation
Help Caring for Dependents
Disability Supports
Books
Other Living and Training Costs
The program will help you commit to a long-term training plan so you can make the transition into a new and high-paying career.
 
When you attend an Assessment Centre you will be asked to research 3 training providers in your chosen occupation. Do your research now and fast-track your acceptance to the program.

* Second Career is only available to those who qualify. A representative at an Ontario Assessment Centre can only determine the many criteria each candidate must meet. Visit an Employment Ontario Assessment Centre nearest you for your full evaluation to participate in Second Career and/or other funding opportunities.
